Almost Almost Almost

Getting Itchy Feet - Blackchords playing a recent gig in Melbourne

I read a nice review of Blackchords by Tim Burke (at The Dwarf.com.au) the other day. tho he did say something about Blackchords taking more time in releasing this album than they’d care to mention…. He was very right in saying this. But I must quote “some” old man who said “good things happen over night but great things take time”! I am clinging to this for dear life cause we HAVE taken time!
And now we have something that I’d like to call great. It comes in the shape of a 12 track Album by Blackchords.
There are still a few more things we need to finish up like track listing and finalizing the album art before we can put more info on the release up on blackchords.com.
That’ll happen at the start of the New Year after our headaches have worn off.
For now we have put up 2 more tracks “22” and “These Lights” on our myspace. So go have a listen if you haven’t already.

We will be n touch soon with new news and photos real soon.
But until then
Have a great xmas and New Years Eve.

Welcome to Blackchords News

This is our brand new blog page
Blackchords will be writing regular posts from now on (its our September resolution) adding new photos and news etc. basically just letting you know whats cooking in the blackchords kitchen.
So what is cooking in the Blackchords kitchen? Well…
We have finished recording the album and it now just needs to be mixed. We’re currently working on a release date and I can hopefully let you know when that will be, very soon. I’m happy with how it is sounding and I’m keen for you all to hear it.
We’re also building the website and there will be new exciting things to look at shortly.
At this very moment I’m hidden away in France writing again. It’s good to be doing this after being so wrapped up in the recording. It’s a nice chilled change.
However it wont last long because we will be getting stuck into gigs back in OZ and I’ll be playing some solo gigs around Paris and London soon.
We will also put up a new track very very soon so that you can have a taste of what’s to come.
So stay tuned and we’ll speak soon
